EV Battery Warranties
Like all of our EVs, the Chevy Bolt EV battery warranty lasts for eight years or 100,000 miles (whichever comes first). If the propulsion battery fails due to a defect under normal use, we’ll repair or replace it at no cost to you. Your Chevrolet EV will also include a three-year or 36,000-mile Bumper-to-Bumper New Vehicle Limited Warranty, which includes tire protection and towing costs. Chevrolet EVs also include 24/7 roadside assistance coverage for eight years or 100,000 miles as part of Chevrolet Complete Care. Note that our warranties do not include routine and preventive maintenance.
Standard Warranties
Traditional gas-powered vehicles come with slightly different coverage than EVs. While the Bumper-to-Bumper New Vehicle Warranty is the same, standard coverage includes a powertrain limited warranty for five years or 60,000 miles, corrosion protection for three years or 36,000 miles, and rust-through protection for six years or 100,000 miles. The standard warranty also includes an option for a 24/7/365 roadside assistance plan.
