LS and RS
The base trim of the 2022 Chevrolet Malibu is called the LS. It comes standard with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with Direct Injection and stop/start technology, as well as a smooth continuously variable transmission. 10 airbags aid with safety, while the MacPherson strut front suspension and four-link rear suspension provide you with a smooth drive no matter what type of surface you’re on.
Upgrading to the RS trim gets you everything on the LS trim, plus:
- Black Chevrolet bowtie emblems, black badges, and RS badging
- Chrome grille surround with black grille inserts
- 18-inch aluminum wheels
- Dual exhaust outlets
LT and Premier
The LT version of this new Chevy car adds the following features:
- LED daytime running lights
- Outside heated power-adjustable body-color mirrors
- 17-inch aluminum wheels
- Body-color antenna
The top-of-the-line Premier trim receives a new 2.0-liter turbo engine that cranks out 250 horsepower while still achieving 33 miles per gallon on the highway. It's matched to a nine-speed automatic transmission. On the exterior, upgrades include 19-inch aluminum wheels and bright sill plates.
